My Story
Years ago I bought an above ground pool (16'circle) and thought it would be an affordable option to providing some cooling off during the hot weather and making some good memories with family and friends. The journey of setting it up and maintaining involved HOURS of YouTube watching, and daily visits to Amazon and the local pool supply house. I'm a solar contractor and have installed hundreds of solar pool heating systems. So when I unboxed my pool and saw the pump, filter, and tubes I had a really strong desire to make my pool better, faster, stronger then the factory provided. At the same time just basic pool ownership obligations were appearing, like a leaf sunk to the bottom. How do a get that out? Or here is another example; "Hey I have to keep adding water to this thing." Water evaporates and it gets taken out when I get out and kids splashing. Adding water is a weekly part of your life now. You might want to think on how to streamline this frequent task. There are so many topics I had to learn and so many new tasks. On this website I share what I have done and learned from others. I hope you can save lots of effort and money by not making the many mistakes above ground pool users face when setting up their pool for the first time.
